2MHz, 1.5A Flash LED Driver
The SGM3784 is a dual high efficiency white LED flash driver with a 1.6MHz or 3MHz synchronous PWM boost converter and two current sources. High switching frequency makes it easy to use tiny components and optimized for compact solutions. These features make the SGM3784 ideal for high-resolution camera phone applications.
The I2C-compatible interface allows the dynamic programming of currents and the flash timer for safety, as well as readback of system status registers. The SGM3784 has a programmable DC battery current limit that allows maximum LED current for systems with significant variation in LED forward and battery voltages. The LED flash driver offers excellent conversion efficiency within the entire battery voltage range.
A Transmitter Mask (TxMASK) input can be set through the GPIO pin. When it acts as a TxMASK input, the flash currents for LED1 and LED2 are reduced to the programmed TxMASK current levels.
The SGM3784 is available in a WLCSP-2×1.6-12B package. It operates over an ambient temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃.
